On the wheel of the year, this is our season in the North – a place of comfort and deep wisdom, council, and spiritual guidance. This gorgeous candle was hand-rolled right here at Sage Goddess with sheets of beige, blue, and forest green beeswax. It’s also anointed with my Snow Queen Perfume with comforting notes of fir balsam, henna flower, and amber and infused with a garnet chip stone for protection and grounding. It also comes wrapped with custom Sage Goddess artwork and a Yule blessing. Light this candle to channel the peaceful, restful energies that Yule brings.
The deeper magic of my Yule Beeswax Intention Candle
Beeswax, with its honey fragrance, has been used since ancient times to make the finest candles. Beeswax burns brighter and removes toxins from the air. Plus, worker bees (who are all female) create it. This candle is anointed with my Snow Queen Perfume, with notes of fir balsam, henna flower, and amber. Fir balsam is detoxifying, healing, and eases stress and tension. It’s grounding, purifying, strengthening, and promotes joy. Henna flower has a seductive fragrance and it’s associated with love and protection. Amber softens your central nervous system and indulges your senses, improving your connection to your deepest sensuality.
There’s something entrancing and mystical about a candle’s flame dancing and flickering, moving and swaying with the unseen currents in the air. Fire is what kept your oldest ancestors alive in the harshest environments of early life on Earth. It cleanses, heals, and purifies. Fire gives life, and when you work with candle magic, you invoke the energy of the fire element, combining it with the energy of intention, as well as the element of air. Flames were used in sacred ceremony for as long as we have written record; the Temple of Isis was kept lit around the clock by oil lamps (the predecessor of candles).
