Cataclasite, also known as impact quartz, was originally created when a meteorite struck the Earth millions of years ago in the region of Botswana. Along with quartz, the other stone in cataclasite is hematite. Cataclasite helps you during times of transformation by giving you the courage and resilience to meet challenges with grace. I received this as an intuitively chosen stone and it became a fast favorite. There is just something magickal about it. I definitely feel like I am in on the universe’s secrets when I use this stone. I now refer to it as the “knowing stone”. When I carry it with me I am able to just sit back, observe, and let my intuition lead. I imagine that this stone would be very soothing to someone who worked in psychiatry or counseling. It helps you just kind of cut to the heart of the matter with no feelings of needing to change or fix, but simply observe. I like to hold it during meditation, place it under my pillow at night, or hold onto it when letting loved ones, clients, or friends vent. I find myself more receptive. I am back to buy more.
