Tibetan amulets have a long history in Asian cultures. Detailed and elegant as well as functional and practical, these bottles traditionally were used to store snuff. With the introduction of snuff, or powdered tobacco, purportedly during the Qing Dynasty in China, snuff bottles — which were made from various materials including glass, stones, crystals, and metals to name a few — were handmade and fashioned to keep the snuff and accompanying herbs fresh. The craftsmanship and artistry of these bottles continued to evolve; these bottles have become popular and well known for their design just as much as their functionality.
Use your Tibetan Amulet to house your oils and perfumes, or even to carry your herbs and spices. Or, you can use your Tibetan Amulet as a prayer holder, writing your intentions down on a slip of paper and carrying it in the amulet until it manifests.
