If you’re as captivated by ancient Egypt as I am, I’ve got a SPECIAL treat for you. At long last, I’m bringing back my evocative and sacred Kyphi Incense – inspired by the oldest recorded recipe found on the temple walls in Egypt. Kyphi, which translates to “incense,” is considered the first incense ever created. It was a favorite amongst the ancient Egyptians, who would burn kyphi ritualistically at dusk within every temple and household to cast out the day’s worries and aid the evening’s dreamwork. Kyphi was also often soaked in wine and consumed for remedial purposes – ancient Egyptian healers swore by its power.
This Kyphi Incense was handcrafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters in the old ways, over a period of ten days with only the finest of ingredients. It’s a combination of mastic, Aleppo pine, mint, juniper berry, red wine, three different resins, and a few more specialized ingredients that have been reduced and refined to create the most fragrant and energetically potent incense possible. This offering is SO sacred, and I can’t wait for you to experience its aroma and magic.
The deeper magic of my Kyphi Incense
Did you know that incense was the first form of perfume? The word “perfume” literally means “through smoke,” and our ancestors used incense to scent their bodies. Ancient Egyptians and Romans would “perfume” the air with the incense they burned. They believed that the sacred smoke of incense would raise all surrounding vibrations and assist them in their magical practice. Burning incense is a great way to smudge, and it connects us with the ancients in a powerful and beautiful way.
The magic of my Kyphi Incense lies in its ingredients. Mastic clears away old, stagnant energies with its bright presence. It intensifies magic and connects you with your innermost power and knowing. Aleppo pine, also known as Jerusalem pine, is a powerful bringer of wisdom and longevity. Since ancient times, the pine tree has been known as a symbol of healing and strength. Mint deeply heals the mind, body, and spirit. It uplifts moods and brings a sense of rejuvenation. Juniper berry imparts protection, peace, centeredness, and balance. It creates a space of safety and comfort and brings warmth, passion, and a boost in energy. Red wine has been used as an offering in ritual and sacred ceremonies for centuries. It symbolizes vitality, rebirth, happiness, and love.
Work with this Kyphi Incense during meditation or ritual, or anytime you wish to connect with the wisdom and magic of ancient Egypt. However you choose to work with this offering, may it serve you well.
This listing is for one (1) 3-gram container of my Kyphi Incense. Yours will arrive lovingly parceled, ready for enjoyment.
Love,
Athena

How great to be able to watch some of the process that went into making this amazing incense! The smell is fruity, like raisins, then woodsy, and then simply paradise!! I only used a tiny pinch & burned it on a charcoal disk. My house smelled like what I would imagine an old Egyptian Temple to be. Absolutely beautiful & amazing!! Thank you for bringing us the best products at the best prices!!

I was so blessed to have an opportunity to own some legit Kyphi incense. As recommended I burned a piece in the evening to help me settle down and unwind. It smells divine! It’s got this sweet herbal/grape/delicious smell to it that is addicting. I want to eat it LOL. A little goes a long way. I am looking forward to having vivid dreams as well in journey. The glass container is beautiful as well! A must own item ❤😁 Thank you Athena and Team SG!!
