Sex Perfume is back! If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I originally made Sex Perfume for myself – something to connect me to my own divine sexual energy. I’m a mom and wife and all the things. But, before any of that, I’m a woman. And sometimes, I need a reminder of my own sensual presence. Sex is handcrafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with a blend of two types of amber, styrax, dark patchouli (just a hint), and a touch of Hawaiian sandalwood. It’s subtle but intoxicating and to me, this is the essence of pure lust. Pure desire. Some of my power resides there. Some of yours does, too. Each bottle is infused with a carnelian chip stone to remind you that you’re divinely alive, boosting your energy when you’re feeling down. Anoint with this sexy blend to enliven your senses.

The magic of my Sex Perfume lies in its ingredients. Amber is a popular aphrodisiac. It connects you with your inner force of will, calling in the warmth that light energy can bring, making you feel more secure and emboldened. Styrax is a Sacral Chakra energy center stimulant and it opens and balances the energy of the Root Chakra. You’ll feel strongly grounded in its presence and more open to expressing your sexuality. It’s earthy and sensually sweet. I mix it with several different other scents and it meshes well. (SG Signature scent is a fav to layer with.)
This scent is a must for anyone who loves earthy / musky scents. I just can’t get enough of it.

I’m honestly not sure what I think of this perfume. When I opened it, it was cloyingly, sickeningly sweet, but as I wore it, it changed scent every time I smelled it. Sometimes it was light and floral, and sometimes it was rich and masculine. Eventually it mellowed into an indistinct musk. I’m not sure it will be my favorite, but I’ll keep it around.

Unlike the other reviewers this scent did not feel sensual at all. It smells like straight baby powder. It never changed and was a little overbearing. I guess it could be clashing with my chemistry but I definitely did not feel sexy wearing it. Instead I felt a flashback to changing diapers. Perhaps that is the draw to your significant other? To make babies?

With Sex as the name I expected it to be a lusty scent. That was so wrong! It is a scent that reminds you of your own femininity. It brings you back to yourself. Sex perfumes takes away all the responsibilities we have: wife, Mom, daughter, volunteer, career…
It lets you just be you, it is a small way to pamper myself, t take care of me, too!
