It’s wildly hedonistic and teeming with abundance, fertility, fire, and fun. Beltane is sexy and this year, we’re working with Belisama, a powerful Gaulish goddess. Belisama is a goddess of fire, bridging the power and light of the Sun and Moon. This set includes all the tools you need to connect with the fiery energies of Beltane: Perfume, candle, incense, a fire goddess crown – including three flowers and two pieces of sari silk to decorate it, face jewels, a burn dish, a parchment, a gemstone duo, and a canvas mat. The deeper magic of this Sensual Belisama Fire of Beltane Set

“Belisama” means “the brightest one” or “most mighty one” and her energy embodies the fiery, powerful vibrations we’re working with this year. When the Romans conquered Gaul, they changed her story to become a “consort of the god Belenus,” the Celtic Sun God (sometimes identified with Apollo). Over time, she became associated with Minerva and was said to reign over lakes and rivers. She’s known as a goddess of light and fire and flowing movement.

May 1 is Beltane in the Northern Hemisphere and on that day we honor nature’s oldest love story. Beltane means bright fire, and in earth-based traditions, it represents the handfasting or marriage of the god and goddess and their eternal embrace. The two are separated all winter long in ancient lore and their reunion on Beltane is celebrated with food, drink, and multi-colored maypoles that symbolize female energies wrapping themselves around the male form.

You will receive the following:

One (1) 10 ml bottle of Belisama Perfume. My Belisama Perfume is blended with notes of mango, patchouli, amber, sage, lavender, and lime. Mango brings prosperity, vitality, and healing. It helps clear your mind, eases stress and tension, and is uplifting. As an herb of attraction, patchouli draws your desires to you and makes you more alluring to others. Its earthy essence heightens sensuality and entices you to enjoy your physical nature. Regarded as a “fire stone” or “fire oil,” amber is associated with the sun and is a popular aphrodisiac. Amber connects you with your inner force of will, calling in the warmth that light energy can bring, making you feel more secure and emboldened. Sage is a sacred herb that’s been used for centuries by elders to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Most people find the scent grounding and centering. Lavender is perhaps one of the best oils to use for purification, protection, and healing rituals. It’s also known for its powers in love, romance, sexual attraction, and attraction of the beloved! Lime essential oil carries a scent that is uplifting and invigorating. It boosts mental clarity, alertness, and concentration. It also increases positivity and focus and reduces feelings of self-doubt, fear, or dread. This perfume is infused with a carnelian chip stone for heightened creativity, energy, and optimism.

One (1) 7.2 oz Belisama Intention Candle. This gorgeous fiery-red candle was hand-poured right here at SGHQ. It’s blended with Belisama Perfume and infused with a carnelian chip stone for increased passion and empowerment. Finally, it’s topped with a clear quartz point for amplifying intentions and glitter for some extra pizazz. Every step in this candles’ creation was filled with love and intent: From the hand-poured wax to the stunning fragrance, to the original artwork, which was created by my very own team of talented designers.

One (1) 2 oz jar of Fire Goddess Incense. What better way to tap into your inner fire goddess than burning your way there? These loose herbs will come in a brown apothecary jar and include saltflower, sage, rose petals, ginger, lavender, and allspice balls. Saltflower is formed on the surface of crystallizing ponds. It’s restorative, healing, and brings balance. Sage is a sacred herb that’s been used for centuries by elders to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Most people find the scent grounding and centering. Rose petals encourage soul connection and open channels of receptivity. The rose is a famous symbol of love, luck, youth, beauty, passion, and attraction. Associated with the fiery planet Mars, ginger embodies warrior energy and boosts vitality and immunity. It’s an amplifier of other herbs and oils and heightens vibrations. Ginger also boosts passion and desire in relationships, speeds up manifestation, and adds its fiery power to all types of magical work. Lavender is derived from the Latin “lavare,” which simply means ‘to wash,’ and its many uses date back to Roman times. It’s perhaps one of the best oils to use for purification, protection, and healing rituals. Allspice raises your vibration because it works on higher planes. As an herb of Mars, it provides you with strength against aggression, helping you make positive changes in your life. The most important benefit of allspice, however, is its abundant healing and purifying magic. It attracts good health, magnifies intentions of other herbs when mixed, and purifies the soul.

One (1) Fire Goddess Crown (about 9”). Step into your power with this amazing crown! It features red and orange ombre aura clear quartz crystals, created to resemble the flames of a fire. Both red and orange ombre aura quartz is created when clear quartz is bonded with metals, creating an iridescent metallic sheen and reflection of brilliant rainbows. Clear quartz amplifies energies and intentions. The aura treatment stimulates both body and spirit through its powerful vibrations. When color is layered with a gemstone, it brings its own medicine. Specific colors are associated with the chakras. Red corresponds to the Root Chakra and orange to the Sacral Chakra, and these crystals activate, balance, and heal those energy centers. Although we’re providing everything you need to decorate your crown, feel free to bring your own items to customize and personalize yours!

Three (3) flowers. Add flower power to your crown with these beauties!

Two (2) pieces of sari ribbon (about 18” each). To bring some color to your crown. Sari means “strip of cloth” in Sanskrit and is worn by women throughout India. When the sari would start coming apart, the women would take the silk and create beautiful crafts for the home. Eventually, the sari silk ribbon was born and can now be seen adding its beautiful colors to many things.

One (1) sheet of assorted face jewels. Have some fun (I mean, you’re already wearing a crown!) and bedazzle your face with these rhinestone face jewels. These self-adhesive stickers are meant for one-time use but can be reused with a little eyelash glue. We recommend not using an oil-based moisturizer prior to use so your jewels stay in place.

One (1) 4 oz burn dish. This dish is here to help you burn away the past. This stainless steel cup has a hammered finish and features copper plating. Copper conducts and channels the flow of positive energy throughout a space, especially the body. Working with it helps to bring things into balance.

One (1) piece of parchment (2”x4″). This piece of parchment is included so you can write down what you want to release from this past season. And also to sing “Let it gooo, let it goooo” while you do it. (Well, that’s optional.) Use your burn dish to burn your parchment (safely, please)!

One (1) 8×10” Canvas Mat. This canvas features the goddess Belisama, designed by my very own talented team of designers. It also includes a blessing written from me to you! Place it on your altar, frame it, or work with it as a gridding mat.

One (1) tumbled carnelian (about 0.5″). Carnelian activates the Sacral Chakra, your energy center of creativity, pleasure, sensuality, and passion. It’s one of the birth star stones for the sign Leo. This gem of fire brings courage and creative spark. Known as the gemstone version of caffeine, carnelian enhances stamina, optimism, and empowerment.

One (1) tumbled orange selenite (about 0.5-1″). Orange selenite is rarer than white selenite and embodies the same peaceful properties along with the extra Sacral Chakra bonus of creative power, pleasure, and sensuality! Also known as orange gypsum, it deflects all negative energy and increases sexual energy. Selenite is fragile – be careful not to get it wet – but it is quite strong, which makes it similar to us as spiritual beings, tender and yet strong in our own ways.
