Halloween. Dia de Los Muertos. Samhain. You all know how much I love this time of year, which is why I am so excited to share my Samhain Divination Kit with you. Samhain is the ancient Celtic festival welcoming the dark half of the year, which was always celebrated at the end of October. Both the name Samhain and its meaning evolved over time, but October 31 remains a night of deep darkness for us who engage in magical working.
Are you familiar with Samhain? It predates modern Halloween, and yet the word carries some negative connotations. The word Samhain means ‘summer’s end’ in Gaelic. It falls on Halloween night and is considered the end of the Celtic year. On this day, so legend goes, the great God of the Sun dies and leaves his widow, the Goddess Crone, to mourn him until Yule, when he will be reborn; and through his rebirth, light will return to the Earth. Throughout this time, we are all cast into literal and figurative darkness. With the Sun God gone, nights grow longer, plants and trees die, and everything around us begins to freeze and harden in the cold chill of late Autumn and oncoming Winter.
The tools of the Samhain Divination Kit
First, my Seer perfume is a divination blend I crafted just for divination work. It is deep, wise, and knowing, with notes of cypress and ylang ylang to aid in the work of you Wise Ones who see the future. It also assists in the development of psychic ability on all levels. And its infused with a danburite chip stone to increase your psychic potential. Psychics, intuits, tarot readers, and Reiki practitioners – you’re going to love this new blend. Next, I crafted my brand new Seer tea lights to fill your sacred space with the sight of the Higher Realms. The magic of these tealights encourages mind expansion, intuition, and spiritual connection. They’re hand-poured with deep blue feather wax, and infused with my Seer perfume. The wax is poured over danburite chip stones for added energies of psychic clarity.
Then you will receive one natural azurite. Azurite is a Third Eye Chakra stone that grows alongside malachite, lapis lazuli, and chrysocolla. It contains a deep and primordial energy that is uniquely feminine. Perhaps that’s why many of us refer to azurite as the Priestess Stone. It opens your Third Eye to allow access to inner wisdom and intuitive knowing.
Last, as the crowing jewel of this kit for the first time ever, I am offering a beautiful scrying mirror. What will be revealed to you in the black depths of glass?
