Samhain Shadow Dancer Set

As the Wheel of the Year continues to turn, we’re embracing autumn with open arms here at Sage Goddess! I’m SO excited to bring you this Samhain Shadow Dancer Set. This set is the third and final installment of a three-part series we’re releasing for Lammas, Mabon, and Samhain. Each of these three sets will accompany a different phase of our journey beyond the veil. During this quest, you’ll travel into the spirit realm and powerfully change your reality by shifting your perspective and transforming your inner world.

This third set will accompany our 2022 Samhain Ritual. Samhain (pronounced Sow-wen or Sow-wain) means Summer’s End in Gaelic. It falls on Halloween night and is considered the end of the Celtic year. Samhain is the Velvet Curtain – a metaphor for the veil between worlds that is both thin and dark, comforting and protective, mysterious and magical. At Lammas, we answered the call to begin our journey beyond the veil. At Mabon, we called in our spiritual mentors to allow them to accompany and guide us on this quest. For Samhain, we will complete our journey and gracefully let go of what no longer serves us and surrender it to the night. I’ll lead you in working with the tools of this offering to call on the protection and comfort of the spirit realm as we release what we no longer need. In this set, you’ll receive a black agate casting set with Adinkra symbols, an Adinkra interpretation card, and a wooden box for holding your casting set. You’ll also receive a set of Ancestral Divination Cards, a jar of incense, a bottle of my Shadow Dancer Perfume, a perfume bottle, and a pair of feather cuffs. The deeper magic of my Samhain Shadow Dancer Set

One (1) 24-piece black agate Adinkra casting set (about 0.75” each). This set was custom-made just for Sage Goddess, and the stones were sourced from India. Each piece in this casting set is carved from black agate and features an Adinkra symbol. These symbols originate from West Africa and have been used in textiles, artwork, and divination for centuries. Each symbol depicts a simple concept that can be worked with in divination practices to gain greater insight and deeper meaning for a multitude of situations or questions. This practice is similar to working with runes or even tarot cards in the way that art and symbols can have profound meaning and channel wisdom from spirit guides and higher realms.

Black agate is a Root Chakra stone that provides centering and stability. It’s a very grounding gem that increases strength, helping you move past negativity and overcome fears. Black agate is a stone of peace and calm, especially during emotional times when you’re not feeling vibrationally at your best. It’s also a gemstone for stronger self-control, resilience, and balance. Black agate is also an ally during bereavement, providing the peace you need to move on and let go.

One (1) Adinkra interpretation card (5×7”), custom-made just for Sage Goddess. This card contains information for each Adinkra symbol in your casting set to assist you with decoding and gaining insight into the messages you receive.

One (1) wooden box (about 5x5x2.75”). This custom-made box features artwork by my talented team of artists and has a hook latch closure for safely holding your Adinkra casting set – or any magical tools you’d like! The artwork features Samhain art from our Journey Beyond the Veil River Styx Canvas. The River Styx is the main underworld river that Charon would cross with the souls of the departed and take them to Hades. Charon is a Greek mythological figure known as the “ferryman of the dead.” The River Styx is a threshold – a bridge between the living world and the underworld. At Samhain, we complete our quest and make our way fully into the underworld, embracing the shadow season and all parts of ourselves.

One (1) set of twelve (12) Ancestral Divination Cards (about 2×3.5” each), custom-made just for Sage Goddess. These gorgeous cards have golden edges and rounded corners. One (1) 2 oz jar of Shadow Summon incense, handcrafted at Sage Goddess Headquarters. This incense comes in a red glass jar sealed with a cork and is an uplifting blend of clove, cinnamon, white sage, mugwort, calendula, reishi mushroom, bay leaf, and makko powder. Clove strengthens divination and clairvoyance and induces spiritual visions that connect you with your inner truth. Cinnamon draws prosperity and success. It enhances your natural psychic ability and raises your vibrational field. White sage is a sacred herb that’s been utilized for centuries by elders to clear and consecrate space. It’s said to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Mugwort amplifies psychic vision, induces lucid and prophetic dreaming, enhances astral travel, and can be burned to create protected space for divination.

Calendula is a powerful healing herb that is detoxifying and purifying. It helps to repair the aura and brings protection. Reishi mushroom is believed to “lighten the body” and show the way to abundance and enlightenment. Bay leaf is healing, protective, purifying, and helps you release what and who no longer is in service of your highest good. Working with it expands awareness, clairvoyance, and clarity. Makko powder has been used since ancient times in crafting incense. It burns with minimal fragrance and allows loose incense blends to burn more easily.

One (1) 10 ml bottle of my Shadow Dancer Perfume, handcrafted at Sage Goddess. This perfume comes in a roller bottle and contains notes of oud, valerian, calendula, vetiver, and poplar (a very special essential oil), all suspended in jojoba oil. Each bottle is also infused with a black obsidian chip stone for protection and healing the mind, body, and spirit. Oud softens and relaxes you and brings emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. It increases focus and alertness and is often used to attain deep meditative states and connect to higher realms. Valerian has been worked with for centuries and is extremely calming, easing stress and tension. It’s also purifying, protective, and encourages self-acceptance.

Calendula inspires optimism, vitality, and positivity and attracts success in every area of life. It can also encourage prophetic dreams and ward off nightmares. Vetiver is an herb of tranquility that fosters relaxation, emotional calm, and stable grounding. It also induces lucid dreaming and deep sleep. Poplar is a powerful oil that brings reconciliation and emotional balance. It helps mend feelings and relationships and draws in spirits, facilitating higher realm connection. Jojoba is ruled by both the Moon and the element of water and contains life-giving and life-restoring properties.

One (1) 30 ml perfume bottle to combine the perfume blends from our Lammas and Mabon rituals with your Shadow Dancer perfume. This glass perfume bottle features a metal casing and is inset with red rhinestones, perfect for anointing yourself with your own unique blend as you continue your journey beyond the veil.

One (1) pair of feather cuffs. These feather cuffs are made with synthetic feathers and feature a tie closure, so you can add some flair to any outfit you please. Feathers are symbolic of ascension and elevation to a higher plane of awareness. Adorn yourself with these cuffs for a witchy feel in ritual or simply as a cute accessory as you dance with the shadows.
