This gem is EXTREMELY challenging to get. It is rare, difficult to even find information on if you were to search for it across the Internet. But what magic it holds! Each one is an absolute pageantry of dusty earthen sparkle. Crystallized sprays of deep bluish green erupt across a shimmering beige druzy canvas. I only have 25 of these, and once they are gone, I don’t know when – or if – I will be able to get more.
This crystal duo – fairly new to the gem world, as it wasn’t discovered until 1977 – grows amidst some of the most highly sought after phosphate minerals in the world. Part of what makes it so magical is the difficulty with which it has journeyed to us. Mined around Rapid Creek, in the sparse and wild Yukon Territory of Canada, excavating this gem is only possible for the few summer months of each year. And even when the weather is agreeable, these mines are among the most perilous terrain worldwide for harvesting specimens.
Gormanite and siderite make a medicinally potent team of gems. Gormanite, of the healing Green Ray, and siderite, a solar plexus opener, work together to empower inner will and bring about peaceful stability. Working with this specimen in meditation will enable you to breathe in the fortitude and alignment needed to go after your intentions with a ferocious force of spirit, while keeping you centered, calm, and well. This gem also stimulates a spectrum of positivity. Positive thoughts, feelings, and ideas abound as your meridians remain in balance and the push toward your goals activates.
