The root of Lunatic is “luna” which translates to “moon,” and “lunatic” is a term that describes those who are most affected by the moon. Before electricity was invented, there were people who would regularly leave the comfort of their homes, and go outside in all kinds of weather to dance ceremoniously under every full phase of the moon.
