Each petroglyph stone is carved with a rendition of the mysterious petroglyphs found in the deserts of northern Peru, and I can’t wait to intuitively choose the one that resonates with your energy to send to you. These are unique. Usually you would only find one of these in the villages around Nazca or Ica in Peru. The petroglyphs depicted on these stones have captivated geologists, scientists, historians, and archaeologists for years now. No one knows for sure how the drawings came to be. All that is known is they are very old – dating between 200 BC to 300 AD.
In the high arid desert plains of Peru sits the small city of Nazca. It’s surrounded by very old desert and magical energies which pre-date the Inca people. In the 1940’s a series of petroglyph drawings and lines were rediscovered far out in the deserts around Nazca and Ica. The most mysterious part is that these drawings can only be fully appreciated from the air, so the question arose – for what purpose did this ancient people create this art? Many believe ancient aliens or astronauts. Along with the drawings, which include a hummingbird, monkey, person/astronaut, and a set of large hands, there are series of lines and geometric shapes drawn into the surface of the Earth which are perfectly straight and continue for miles upon miles. It’s confounded us for years what purpose these drawings served, and how they managed to chart such straight and perfect lines. And from what inspiration did a desert people get the ideas for the animals they drew? (Whale, monkey). And what happened to the Nazca people, who quite similar to the ancient Sumerians, seemed to have contact with higher beings? It’s fascinating to me!
