I have never before offered this in the shop, and I’m so excited to be bringing it to you now: petrified bog wood, also known as gary green jasper, or larsonite. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is some of the most ancient and energetically potent matter that I have ever come across. This matter comes from a swamp that was petrified in a volcanic event over ten million years ago, and the vibration that it holds is simply extraordinary. If you’re looking to powerfully ground your spirit and tap into some of the most ancient wisdom this planet has to offer, this offering is for you.
The deeper magic of this petrified bog wood
Travel back in time ten million years with with me, to the Miocene Age – a time of wild grasslands and untouched earth. Envision an expansive swamp stretching itself wide across the land, alive with plantlife and creatures, quiet and tranquil. This is where petrified bog wood comes from – this ancient, uninhabited place of stillness and wisdom. This material is literally a snapshot in time, an immortal imprint of the algae, trees, vegetation, and swamp critters that inhabited this bog millions of years ago.
Work with petrified bog wood to cultivate the sacred peace and centeredness that our planet knew so well during that time. I have four sizes to offer you: Small (about 3-4” in size), Medium (about 4-5” in size), Large (about 5-6” in size), and X-Large (about 6-7” in size). Please choose the size that calls to you from the drop-down menu above. Yours will arrive lovingly parceled along with a single leaf of white sage and a card describing the properties of petrified bog wood.
