This year, we are exploring “A World of Magic”, as I take students on an adventure into the spiritual practices of global civilizations and meta-cultures. November 2018 Gem Wise Set: Shabbat – The Rest We All Need

This November, we are exploring the culture of ancient Israel. In this Gem Wise set, you will receive five very special gemstones inspired by Shabbat – The Holy Day of Rest.

Being overwhelmed is a feeling that resonates with everyone. Shabbat – the Jewish Sabbath – is a resting period that begins every Friday evening and extends to Saturday night. It’s a time to take a break from the nuances of ordinary life and focus on yourself, your family, your spirituality, and even your community. As the evening breeze sweeps in, Shabbat begins, and a calm announces the seventh day—a day of rest.

Now, I will not reveal too much here, because we are excited with anticipation to explore these gems in our classroom this November. You won’t want to miss this class!

In this Gem Wise Set, you will receive five stones: one (1) rutilated quartz, one (1) sugilite, one (1) pink salt chunk, one (1) dioptase, and one (1) sulfur quartz. You will also receive an engraved acrylic designed to grid and hold the magic of Shabbat and the intentions of these stones.
