This North candle and stone duo conjures potent directional magic. I can’t tell you how many requests I’ve received for directional candles – candles for the north, south, east and west that call in the Guardians of those corners and also bring the properties of those corners to your magical work. This candle and moss agate duo represent both Pagan and Native American traditions, where the direction of North on the sacred Medicine Wheel is embodied by the color white and the element of Earth. White is the first layer of wax I used to wrap this candle, and moss agate is a grounding, woodland stone.

North reigns over the winter season. It is our guiding star, a bright circumpolar body that never sets over the horizon. It is always visible in our night skies, symbolizing the rebirth of light and the wisdom of our ancestors.
My North candle radiates and harnesses that energy. Wrapped with sheets of white, sage green, and navy blue beeswax to represent the North star, the forest, and the nighttime sky. Each wax sheet is anointed with Druidess perfume, a blend of fir, juniper, pine, and wild lavender, then sprinkled with tiny rainforest and evergreen jasper stones. The scent will transport you.
