My Myrrh Initiation Balm is BACK and as magical as ever! This balm was lovingly hand-crafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters and was originally part of my New Moon Enchanted Plant Wisdom: Myrrh and Reishi Mushroom Set. Since ancient times, people have worked with myrrh in religious ceremonies, purification rituals, embalming, and healing work. Myrrh’s aroma lifts and clears stagnant vibrations, boosts life force, eases stress, and imparts a wonderful sense of gratitude, groundedness, and peace.
This balm’s skin-nourishing base is made from babassu oil, beeswax, cocoa beans, avocado butter, and shea butter – all infused with myrrh essential oil and sprinkled with myrrh. Every container is also infused with a bloodstone chip stone, for healing, rejuvenation, endurance, and protection. Incorporate this magical balm into your daily self-care rituals to harness the incredible power of myrrh.
The deeper magic of my Myrrh Initiation Balm
According to legend, the myrrh tree gets its name from Myrrha, daughter of Cyprus’ King Cinyras, who was transformed by the gods into a myrrh tree to escape her father’s fury. The tree’s resin is said to be Myrrha’s tears. Working with myrrh facilitates spiritual transformation, heals sorrow, eases pain, enhances meditation, and honors the passage to realms beyond our world of time and space.
