Mayan Full Moon: Cycle of Prosperity set

Rituals of renewal were common in the Mayan civilization. Ancient Mayans believed in the cycle of life, ever-maintaining the balance of Divine energy. They did this through a variety of rituals, including burning their homes and possessions as an outward commitment to starting anew. We translate their intentions into the rituals we perform today. Even though we have evolved from their primitive ways, like the Mayans, we believe that sacrifice is essential for our growth in order to maintain equilibrium in our own cycles. Alignment within ourselves allows us to better receive successful outcomes. Renewing intimate connections within ourselves, in our relationships, and with the universe assures balance and flow. It is a reconciliation ritual that begins with you.

In this Mayan Full Moon: Cycle of Prosperity set, we’re evoking the Mayan moon goddess, Ix Chel, to help us prepare for our Full Moon event at the end of April, when we open the door to the Mayan Civilization. These tools honor the four elements, which are an essential part of the Mayan culture. Join us as we tap into the ancient Mayan wisdom, and prepare to call forth the illumination of the moon to receive more balance, prosperity, and abundance in our lives. We are now rising, having pushed up through the snow and ice to thaw and bloom. We need to purge any stagnant energies that remain from the soil, the earth, the bedrock, the lower realms and release them to the element of air, which is the element of spring. Use this set in preparation for prosperity, to ensure your best possible outcome in receiving all that you desire.

The tools in my Mayan Full Moon: Cycle of Prosperity set

One (1) 15 ml Calibrate Perfume. This gorgeous three-sided bottle contains a blend of vanilla, tobacco, and patchouli. The proportions are just right – the patchouli doesn’t drown the vanilla. It just kisses it. And the result is, well, heavenly. Vanilla is a powerful aphrodisiac, while patchouli draws success, abundance and wealth, grounding and connecting you to the Earth at the same time. Tobacco was seen as a gift from God. This woodsy fragrance resonates with a long-lasting, sacred aroma with a grounding presence that calls you back to the now. Each bottle is infused with a moonstone chip stone to enhance your connection with the moon and the lunar ability to bring a flow of visions and dreams to life.

One (1) Calibrate Candle (6 oz) hand poured with golden yellow wax to symbolize the sun and the Mayan Calendar. Each candle is made with Calibrate Perfume blend, and holds a moonstone chip stone to further amplify its properties and integrate the balance between day and night.

One (1) 1 oz tin of herbal incense blend. This tin includes Mexican dream herb, chicory, wormwood, mugwort, calendula, reishi mushroom, chamomile, and prickly ash bark. Dreams are eminently important in all Mesoamerican cultures, and the ancient Mayans used Mexican dream herb (also known as Calea zacatechichi) to obtain divinatory messages during dreams. Burning chicory removes negative vibrations and purifies all tools used for divinatory purposes. Wormwood is an intuitive herb, that heightens one’s senses, causing euphoric sensory experiences. Mugwort is a highly magical herb, believed to open the third eye, enhance psychic vision, astral projection, and lucid dreaming. Calendula is a sacred flower that elevates and clarifies your cognitive thinking abilities. Reishi mushroom was ground and used as a hallucinogen during Mayan rituals. They felt during these altered states they were closer to the gods, and could receive messages or gifts of abundance. Chamomile is the “clear quartz” of the herb world. It amplifies the intentions of all herbs around it. Prickly ash bark is native to the Mesoamerican region, and a sacred medicinal plant used for sharpening one’s senses.

One (1) incense burner which will come with a charcoal disk to use for burning your herbs. The Incense burner style will vary.

One (1) 3 oz vessel. This vessel will hold your water for ritual. In this set you will be taught how to prepare sacred moon water, from the included parchment. The ancient Mayans viewed moon water as the essence of life.

One (1) yellow fluorite. Yellow fluorite is a mineral found in Central America. A rare stone of the yellow ray, yellow fluorite activates the Solar Plexus Chakra to help you feel powerful. It attracts resources to you and manifests your visions.

One (1) spessartine garnet in limestone. The caves Mayans performed their water ceremonies in were made of limestone. Red garnets were considered sacred by the ancient Mayans. This stone heightens your ability to take action and manifest what you seek.

One (1) brown calcite. Calcite grew in the Mayan caves. Many Mayan remains that have been found in the caves are encrusted in calcite. This stone is remarkable for promoting spiritual expansion and connection to your Higher Self, all while keeping you grounded at the same time.

One (1) black Lemurian jade. Jade and pyrite were abundant sources in ancient Maya. Black Lemurian jade is a stone of Ix Chel (the Mayan moon goddess), and is a combination of jade, quartz, and pyrite. It helps you connect at the level of your heart center to the energies of Mother Earth for healing, abundance, and joy.

One (1) moonstone. Moonstone brings visions and dreams to life, which is why so many gem collectors and magicians prize it. It draws down the moon and all her watery lunar mystery, so you can harness and use it in your own work.
