This year in Magical Sabbatical, we are exploring “A World of Magic.” Each month, we learn about the magical practices of a different civilization. Our examination spans from ancient to contemporary times. Together, we tap into the power of these magical societies, infusing our own modern practices with their ancient magic. Included in our discovery are each culture’s associated myths and lore that have captivated imaginations for ages.

March 2018 Magic of India Set: Sensual Creation

This March, we are exploring the vibrant culture of India, a civilization that is alive with ancient traditions. In this magical set, you will receive an assortment of magical items to connect with your own powers of sensual creation. Now, I will not reveal too much here, because we are excited with anticipation to explore the stories and uses of these special products in our classroom this March. This is a special discussion that you won’t want to miss!

We have a very limited number of these sets available for purchase. Each set comes with:

One (1) Rise Candle (6 oz) hand poured with deep coral soy wax, dressed with Lotus Stamen and fenugreek, and dusted with red sandalwood. Each candle also holds a carnelian chip stone. As you light this candle, my intention is that you rise into the bliss of Shakti.

One (1) 15 ml bottle of Ananda Perfume with notes of sandalwood, rose attar, and saffron concentrate  – the oils of sensuality and enlightenment. Each bottle of my Ananda Perfume is infused with a carnelian chip stone to further amplify its properties.

One (1) 1oz tin of Powdered Incense Blend, with a sandalwood base for purification, expansion, and enlightenment. This incense is self igniting; simply place a pinch in a safe burner, and touch the flame directly to the incense to release its sensual aroma. A cowrie shell (about 0.5”) is included in each round window tin of incense. The cowrie is symbolic of the Great Mother Yoni, the Kali-Cunti. Its translation derives from “Kauri,” the brilliant creational energy of Shakti.

One (1) henna cone (30 grams) made with pure henna and natural oils. We will use our henna to during a very special creational ceremony. What does it mean, to you, to work with these symbols? Post your henna design on social media!

One (1) Sensual Creation stone set with natural hessonite garnet (about 1”), a Shiva Lingam (about 1”) , and sunset sodalite (about 1.5). Natural hessonite is a rare form of garnet. In India, hessonite is a premier stone of attraction, wealth and passion. The Shiva Lingam spurs creativity and inspiration. It resonates with the Sacral Chakra, the center of our creative impulses. The Shiva Lingam is revered in India, where it is worshipped to increase fertility. Sunset sodalite is a combination of sodalite and feldspar. This stone is new to the market, and this our first offering of it here at Sage Goddess! Use this stone for clarity, strength, and confidence.

Lastly, you have the option of ordering your Sensual Creation set with one (1) beautiful 11×14 canvas of original SG artwork. This canvas art is absolutely stunning; it holds the creational magic of the Universe within it. Use the drop down menu above to choose this offering, if you feel called.

**Not all items in this set are from the civilization of focus. Where possible we gather items from the civilization of origin. However, when this is not possible, we gather items that we believe reflect the energy of this civilization. Athena will discuss in class which items are sourced from the country of focus, and which ones simply reflect or represent the energy of this civilization.
