The deeper magic of my Manifestation Intention Candles
Labdanum was called the “perfume of Arabia” by ancient writers. Its intoxicating scent helps to balance the emotional body and heal any energetic leaks. Labdanum is protective, strengthening, and encourages spiritual evolution. Beeswax works to bring other ingredients (and intentions!) together for a harmonious balance. Any time there’s an offering made with a bee’s help, it’s imbued with their virtues of diligence and cooperation. Finally, the sunstone chip brings benevolence and positive energy to your sacred space. Sunstone fills you with optimism, openness, and warmth and inspires consciousness and awakening.
There’s an entrancing and mystical beauty about a flame dancing and flickering, moving and swaying with the unseen currents in the air. The original meaning of the word candle comes from a Latin word candere which means “to shine,” and there is evidence showing the use of candles as far back as 3000 BC. Ancient Romans dipped rolled papyrus with a center wick repeatedly in beeswax to form what might look very similar to Sage Goddess candles today! With the discovery and advances of electricity, candles have lost some of their importance in mainstream society. However, those of us who practice magical ritual still make use of and honor the candle.
