The deeper magic of this Peacock Feather Wax Seal Stamp
Sealing wax melts easily and holds an impression when stamped. Adding your own stamp or seal is a fun way to adorn your written correspondence. Sealing wax was first used in Mesopotamia to authenticate written tablets, and its use in sealing letters dates back to about the 16th century. It’s really beautiful and priced really well. It didn’t come with a wax stick and I didn’t see any on the website, I think adding that as an option would be great. I gave it a try using some wax melts that were simmering in my warmer and maybe you can’t use that kind of wax or maybe I didn’t let it cool long enough but the wax ended up sticking to the stamp and I had to scrape it off with a toothpick. An instruction card would be helpful. Overall though sage goddess never disappoints. Love love love.
