This deep purple soy blend candle was lovingly hand-poured right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with my Hecate Perfume – an intoxicating blend of cedar, jasmine, patchouli, and deep resinous amber. It’s also infused with a protective smoky quartz chip stone and topped with a clear quartz point for purification and amplification. Light this candle to see beyond the veil and channel support in times of release, change, and deep soul shifting. 

The deeper magic of my Hecate Intention Candle

Hecate is the Greek goddess of the in-between – the place between life and death – and she acts as the guardian of the crossroads. Her gifts are transformation and release, and she stands at the gateway into new possibilities and opportunities. When you arrive at the threshold, you have a choice on how to proceed. Are you ready to attract something new, or to release what no longer serves? In mythology, Hecate blazed the night with torches, guiding Demeter in search of her daughter Persephone, who had been abducted by Pluto. Hecate was often depicted with a torch, bringing light and wisdom to the world, as well as keys to open the gates between the worlds and access the hidden knowledge beyond.

My Hecate Intention Candle is made with notes of cedar, jasmine, patchouli, and amber. Cedar possesses an energy that’s deep, ancient, and protective. It’s purifying, safeguarding, and powerful in facilitating deep introspection and meditation. Jasmine is a mystical flower associated with the Divine Feminine, divination, and moon magic. Its flowers bloom at night, earning it the nickname “Queen of the Night.” Patchouli digs in deep: It helps to break long-held patterns of shame and low self-worth, inspiring balanced introspection and real self-love in turn. Amber has a sensual, earthy scent that soothes, increases pleasure, and embodies ancient wisdom.
