Lammas Ritual Kit to Honor Lughnasadh, The First Harvest

It is a holiday in Earth-based traditions, as old as time itself. Lammas is also a day of honoring Lugh, the Celtic craftsman god. It honors the first harvest of the season, and the beginning of the lengthening nights which signal fall’s arrival. By celebrating Lammas as a harvest holiday, we honor our ancestors and the hard work they had to do in order to survive.

This week of Lammas is the time to take a moment to reflect. Look back upon the first half of this year, and upon the seeds we planted. Ask yourself: Did I plant them with mindful intention, or did I drop them carelessly as I walked? Either way you’ve sown something, and now as the first harvest begins, it is time to reap what you’ve sown. Work with these tools as you pause in reflection to give thanks and take stock. Lammas Ritual Kit tools

You will receive my brand new Lammas perfume in this set. This sweet scent has notes of butterscotch, cardamom, and ginger.  This is a blend for reflection and releasing. It is intended to aid you in taking honest stock of your harvest; emotionally, physically, or spiritually. I bottle it with tiger’s eye chip stones for added energies of wisdom and insight.

Next, you will receive a Lammas hand-rolled candle, made in sheets of yellow beeswax in three shades, anointed with Lammas perfume, and infused with tiger’s eye chip stones for energies of wisdom, grounding, and protection. Adorned with custom artwork, each candle also has a blessing which you can read aloud. 

And finally, the two stones of my Lammas gem set are natural orange calcite and picture jasper. Orange calcite aids in healing, balance, creativity, and passion. Picture jasper is your gemstone ally for gaining perspective on your life, so you can see the bigger picture with clarity. Both aspects are necessary as you take stock of where you are now, in order to move forward on your path.
