These Ishtar’s Power Lapis Lazuli Wands have a story to tell. Are you familiar with the time when Ishtar visited the underworld? If you’re in my Soul Shift program, we discussed this briefly in one of our May classroom sessions. Ishtar is the Queen of Heaven, the primordial goddess of war, creation, and fertility. She went into the underworld to visit her sister, Ereshkigal, in a quest to gain more power. Before reaching her sister, she had to go through several gates. At each gate, she was required to take off a piece of her armor, from her lapis wand, to her robe, to other protective crystals. By the time she reached her sister, Ishtar was completely unrobed, at which point Ereshkigal killed her sister and hung Ishtar’s body on the wall. After three days, Ishtar’s body was recovered and she was resurrected.

I bought the larger wand. It came with some protective putty to keep the tip intact, which was great. It’s Beautifully carved with glittering gold and deep blue veins. The wand has a nice weight and balance in the hand.
