Also known as red cobalt, erythrite takes its name from the Greek ‘erythros,’ which means red. This stone primarily works its harmonizing magic on the Heart Chakra. It can be found in a number of far-reaching locations including Australia, Mexico, Poland, and Spain, although the majority of erythrite is sourced in Morocco, which is where these are from. While erythrite crystals can be found in these vast and varying locations, it is still regarded as an extremely rare stone.
Erythrite itself is a mix of cobalt and nickel. Due to its unique appearance, it’s also known as cobalt bloom, cobalt crust, cobalt-mica, cobalt ocher, and red cobalt ochre. Miners often refer to this stone as cobalt bloom due to its gorgeous, flourishing purple crystals. As it promotes a strong, flowing connection between all the chakras, this Hone Your Perspective Erythrite can be used for a variety of intentions.
