This Ganesha statue honors his benevolence and empowers us to proceed on our soul path, so that we might fulfill our Highest Calling. Ganesha brings the Divine Masculine presence of beauty and appreciation for the bounty that surrounds us. And the trishul, a powerful trident, is a Hindu-Buddhist religious symbol that represents various trinities. For example, past, present, and future; creation, maintenance, and destruction; or ida, pingala, and shushmana (three energy centers within the body). As a weapon, the trishul is wielded by both Durga and Shiva, used by the latter to cut off Ganesha’s head. It is said to be a weapon that can destroy worlds and planes, leveling us all to a state of bliss. Invoke this weapon to destroy and remove whatever is standing in your way.

This Ganesha is on my computer desk. I stroke her trunk all the time. I remember doing this to a statue in a parish cathedral. (we were allowed). Where it is touched the brass was shiny because the tarnish was worn off, but it didn’t harm the metal. My little Ganesha has a GORGEOUS red/brown patina everywhere except her truck which is now becoming a brighter, shiny warm copper color. It is cast with thicker walls & is very hefty in weight. She is a beaut!
