The obelisk is a beautiful structure that features sacred geometry shapes, most noticeably the cube or hexahedron at the base for a sturdy foundation and to represent the four directions and the pyramid at the top. Obelisks were always built in pairs with the smaller ones standing outside of tombs and the larger ones outside of temples.
