Dia de los Muertos is one of my favorite holidays, and I created this Pan Dulce Perfume to celebrate! I originally offered this perfume as part of my set of Ofrenda Perfumes – but now, its magic is available on its own. This perfume was handcrafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters to honor Dia de los Muertos and contains notes of sweet bread and pastry – warm aromas reminiscent of the freshly baked pan dulce traditionally placed on Dia de los Muertos altars. It’s also bottled with a pink aventurine chip stone for balance and happiness. Anoint with my Pan Dulce Perfume to honor those who have passed and call in the sweet, loving guidance of your ancestors and guides.
The deeper magic of my Pan Dulce Perfume
Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is an ancient, sacred holiday celebrated primarily in Mexico, as well as throughout the Americas and in Spain. Traditional celebrations of this occasion are colorful, festive, and focused on building ofrendas, or altars, for loved ones who have departed from this Earth. Often, these altars include foods that those who have passed enjoyed while they were alive.
Pan dulce translates to sweet bread and was born of the blending of cultures when the Spanish introduced wheat to Latin America. Pan dulce is a traditional item placed on Dia de los Muertos ofrendas, and I captured its magic in this blend with notes of sweet bread and pastry. Anoint with my Pan Dulce Perfume to remember the sweetness of your loved ones in this realm and beyond. However you choose to work with this perfume, may it serve you well. And so it is.
