Ahead of eclipse season, I thought this would be the perfect time to craft a new perfume LIVE with you… which is just what I did on Tuesday, October 3, as a part of our Spooky Celebration. Introducing my Limited Edition Guardian Perfume, a blend that brings the energy for what is needed during shadow and eclipse season. It feels protective but not overbearing — like a guardian spirit watching over and tending to your worries and fears with so much abiding love and strength of presence.
Hence the alchemy of oils in this blend: Immortelle, chrysanthemum, vetiver, opoponax, tobacco absolute, cedar, rose, calendula, frankincense, myrrh, and rue. It comes in a beautiful red jasper-filled roller ball bottle — even the roller ball itself is made of red jasper! I’m only making one batch of this sacred blend for summoning the deepest ancestral contact, so when it’s gone, it’s gone! I like it that way — it makes each bottle super special. The deeper magic of my Limited Edition Guardian Perfume
The essential oils in Guardian include:
- Immortelle, or helichrysum, is used for magical rituals to invoke departed spirits and connect with energies of everlasting life and communion. This sacred oil also helps heal emotional and physical scars and improves signs of aging (after all, spirits never age!).
- Chrysanthemum for beauty, energies of the Sun, and the element of fire. It rejuvenates you and allows you to rest in love and trust in the goodness of your heart.
- Vetiver brings deep relaxation to the central nervous system by grounding you into your body and aligning you to the core of the planet. It comes from the root system of its own mother plant, so it becomes a natural umbilical cord to universal love.
- Opoponax comes from the same family as palo santo and copal. All Bursera trees help raise your vibration, avoid health challenges, and improve spiritual protection. In addition, opoponax thins the veil between worlds (so important at Samhain time).
- Tobacco absolute is one of my favorite offerings to Great Spirit and the ancestors. Its scent is universally recognized in the higher dimensions. It’s said that tobacco taught the Andean ancestors how to prepare other sacred medicines!
- Cedar is among my favorites of the grandfather trees of unity and protection. It offers deep introspection in big protective arms — so perfect for this guardianship blend.
- Rose opens you up to new experiences of love and passion as well as compassion and truth. It brings a balance of feminine energies to this blend as it dances and merges with cedar and vetiver.
- Calendula is sacred in Mexico as part of the Day of the Dead tradition and represents traditional healing ceremonies. It soothes frayed nerves and helps you remain calm under pressure, stress, or fear.
- Frankincense, we all know and love. It brings a blanket of introspection and perspective. It increases focus, yields powerful anti-aging properties, and centers the mind.
- Myrrh is the gateway between worlds, where the spirits of the ancestors and our own higher selves merge. It aids communication and divination efforts so you can access your beloveds across the veil with greater ease.
- Rue, for me, is the secret magic in this mix! Rue brings the butterflies — but why? Because it represents what they embody: Transformation into deeper beauty through experience. Rue is also a warding oil used in Pagan rites to dispel negative energy.
