The magic of my Essence of Mexico Perfume lies in its ingredients. Tobacco is native to the Americas, believed to have started growing around 6,000 BC. Indigenous peoples have used tobacco in spiritual ceremonies and vision questing for thousands of years to connect to Earth and Sky, bridging material and spiritual worlds. It’s a sacred herb of prayer, protection, purification, respect, peace, gratitude, and ancestor connection. Copal is native to Mexico and Central America and is considered the “blood of trees.” It was, and still is, the most sacred resin used for rituals in the Mayan and Aztec cultures. Ancient Mayans used copal in purification, protection, healing, divination, love, and other spiritual ceremonies. It rejuvenates and renews, calming the nervous system and releasing stress.

Myrrh is one of the most ancient resins, used in religious ceremonies, purification rituals, embalming, and medicinally. It links with the pathway of the soul, where we face many crossroads, and serves as a gateway to the spirit world, aiding communication with those who have passed. Its aroma lifts and clears stagnant or negative vibrations, aiding those in need of energetic rescue. Holy basil also known as Tulsi, encourages you to release old patterns and enhances feelings of satisfaction. It’s also clearing and brings calm and good luck. Gardenia is an oil of purity, spirituality, peace, and love. It helps you reach deep within yourself and illuminates what has been hidden from your view. It is gentle, sensual, calming, cooling, uplifting, and arousing. Additionally, gardenia brings clarity and heightens your intuition. The fragrance of fire is associated with life force, inspiration, creativity, and passion. Fire energy is spontaneous, excitable, warming, and radiating. It gets things going and generates transformation. Working with fire invokes your courage and helps you step into your power and purpose.
