This Carrier Oil 3 Pack is an essential part of any goddess cosmetic assortment. Carrier oils are frequently used to temper the concentration of essential oils, which may be too concentrated to apply by themselves. Getting older is a part of life we may not always wholly embrace, but we must accept. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t do what we can to still look and feel young. And as we all know, a big part of aging, or not aging, is skin care.The three I have chosen to include in this set were purposefully picked for their individual attributes, as well as their ability to mix excellently with other essential oils.
The tools in my Carrier Oil 3 Pack
First is a 1 oz bottle of Jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is the liquid produced in the seed of the jojoba plant, which is native to southern Arizona, southern California, and northwestern Mexico. Jojoba oil has been used by the Native American tribes for hair and skin care from time immemorial. Jojoba oil can seal in moisture and create an effective barrier to external elements. It is so structurally close to the secretion of the sebaceous glands in the skin that it is readily accepted and tolerated. Pure Jojoba oil is fully absorbed into the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.
Next is a 1 oz bottle of apricot kernel oil. Apricot oil is one of the oils that has a lipid content similar to that of your skin. When the skin’s lipid content becomes too low, dry and irritated skin results. Topical application of apricot oil helps soothe and heal rough, damaged skin. The oil’s fine texture allows more rapid skin penetration, which promotes prompt healing and nourishment of delicate or chapped skin. As an added benefit, apricot oil helps prevent and minimize the appearance of wrinkles.
Finally, we have a 1 oz bottle of avocado oil. Avocado oil is extracted for cosmetic use because of its high skin penetration and rapid absorption. Not only is avocado oil extremely good at hydrating and softening your skin, is it also often recommended as an effective treatment for acne and blackheads, eczema and other forms of skin inflammation.
It always amazes me when I think about the infinite abundance and limitless magic the Earth Mother has provided for us.
