The deeper magic of these Blessed Yule Ornaments
Yule, or Winter Solstice, is the longest night of the year. Every year on December 21, we celebrate the arrival of winter in the northern hemisphere and begin our turn toward the sun. Days grow longer beginning December 22, and in Earth-based traditions this is a time of hope and preparation.
These Blessed Yule Ornaments serve as a beautiful reminder of the symbolism of the season and feature the message of yule blessings, the triple moon goddess, the pentacle, and the Celtic knot. The triple moon goddess represents the Divine Feminine and the waxing, full and waning phases of the moon. This symbol reminds us of the ebb and flow, the dance between light and dark, and the phases of the great life cycle. The pentacle is an 8,000-year-old icon of Wiccans that represents the quest for Divine Knowledge. Its points represent the four directions and elements, with the fifth point standing as the sanctity of Spirit. The circle around it symbolizes unity and wholeness. The Celtic knot has existed, in varying forms, for hundreds of years. It is a continuous loop with no ending or beginning, reminding us that life is much the same.
