This moisturizing balm was hand-crafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with my Soul Shift Exclusive Graduation Perfume: Magnum Opus. It features notes of vetiver, ylang ylang, musk, balsam copaiba, kewra, chaga mushroom, cepes, opoponax, jasmine grandiflorum, and the rare and exquisite royal green frankincense resin – all blended in babassu oil, beeswax, cocoa beans, and avocado and shea butter. These nourishing ingredients do wonders for your skin, and to add to the magic, I’ve also lightly dusted Magnum Opus Balm with jasmine and infused it with a clear quartz chip stone for amplified vibrations.

This sacred balm was made with a proprietary blend of ingredients, all of which are 100% natural and skin-safe. Our balms are elevated compared to other brands because we don’t take the easy route – instead of using a high ratio of beeswax, we combine different kinds of butter and make this blend with 100% essential oils. The deeper magic of my Magnum Opus Balm

Alchemy is a process of transforming one substance, state of being, thought form, or creation into another. Alchemy is the process of becoming YOU – fully, passionately, and unapologetically. The first alchemists understood there was much more to this universe than could meet the human eyes. They studied ways of working with sacred geometry, frequency, vibration, and energy to transcend the third-dimensional state of reality – this here/now human experience. Their goal was total freedom from all constraints, whether those constraints were emotional, physical, spiritual, or mental. Through this course, we’ve gone through seven stages of alchemy: Calcination, dissolution, separation, conjunction, fermentation, distillation, and coagulation.

Each of the ingredients in my Magnum Opus Balm, which was made with my Soul Shift Exclusive Graduation Perfume: Magnum Opus, coincides with these stages:

First is vetiver, to symbolize calcination and create the scent of fire/burning. Vetiver is my favorite oil for grounding. It provides a powerful sense of balance for the mind, body, and soul. Working with vetiver brings deep peace and purification. It also uplifts your mood and helps you find your center.

Second is ylang ylang and musk, to symbolize dissolution and create the scent of rain/water. Ylang ylang helps the heart to open, which facilitates the healing of deep emotional trauma. It cultivates inner joy, trust, and a true openness of heart. Musk is hailed as a love oil – arousing passion and heightening sexual pleasure. It’s also a meditation oil that reduces stress, helps you work through fear, and purifies energy. 

Third is balsam copaiba, to symbolize separation. I chose balsam copaiba to support you as you separate the elements within yourself. Balsam copaiba detoxifies, heals, and eases stress and tension. It’s grounding, strengthening, and promotes joy and well-being.

Fourth is kewra, to symbolize conjunction. Kewra opens the spirit to divine wisdom, bridges the heart and mind, and invites inspiration and creativity.

Fifth is chaga mushroom and cepes, to symbolize fermentation. Chaga mushroom is known as the “Mushroom of Immortality.” It’s healing, aids in dreamwork, and powerfully opens and activates the Third Eye Chakra. Cepes is made from wild French mushrooms with a gorgeous, earthy scent. Like most mushrooms, it helps bring things buried in the subconscious to the surface, so you can face and integrate them.

Sixth is opoponax, to symbolize distillation. Opoponax is a resin that is distilled down to create this beautiful scent. Opoponax is an incredible guide in lucid dreaming, trance work, vision questing, deep meditation, and outer realm connection.

Seventh is jasmine grandiflorum, to symbolize coagulation. Jasmine grandiflorum is the best type of jasmine. Its flowers are entirely white and grow in larger clusters than the rest of its species. Jasmine is a mystical flower associated with the Divine Feminine, divination, and moon magic. It’s one of the most expensive oils in the world and a seductive aphrodisiac that arouses sensuality and attracts physical and spiritual love, as well as all kinds of abundance.

Last is royal green frankincense resin, or green Hojari frankincense resin – the highest quality frankincense there is. This frankincense is harvested in Oman and has a cleaner, more elegant, and rounded scent compared to regular frankincense. Frankincense is protective, grounding, purifying, and can transport you into a deep meditative state. It connects you to Source energy. The Chinese called it “fanhunxiang” meaning “calling back the soul fragrance.” Frankincense also promotes feelings of satisfaction, peace, and reduces stress.
