The word “mandala” is an ancient Sanskrit word that can be loosely translated as “circle.” A mandala, however, is much more than just a simple shape. A mandala represents wholeness and is a symbol for the basic structure of all life — a cosmic diagram that can be used to remind us of our mystical connection to the infinite, and to the worlds that extend beyond and within our bodies and minds. Carl Jung believed mandalas are archetypal forms representing the Self and he referred to them as “archetypes of wholeness.” He encouraged his patients to draw and work with them as part of their process of individuation and the discovery of self-knowledge.

****These are non-toxic and safe for anyone. They come off easily with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Clean your skin before applying. Peel off the plastic topcoat, place facedown on skin, and wet the backside of the tattoo with a wet sponge. Allow the water to soak through and hold in place for at least 30 seconds before peeling the paper away. Enjoy!
