The use of alchemy for transformation or transmutation is as old as time. It’s a form of chemistry and speculative philosophy that was practiced in the Middle Ages and during the Renaissance. The primary goal of alchemists was to perform the Magnum Opus (or “great work”), which is to transmute a base metal, such as lead, into a purified metal, like gold. When I saw the listing and amazing price for Gold Kyanite pendants I jumped on the chance to own a piece and get a couple more for my sister and friend as gifts (other pieces I’ve seen at local shops were far more expensive). Though they are beautiful and do have wonderful energy, they don’t quite look the way I expected they would. In comparison to the examples in the photos and video, these have some patches where the gold did not take and the Kyanite itself on the large is a bit sparse. I know all crystal sizes and looks will vary, and I am still very happy, I only wish the examples in the photos and video reflected some that look like these so it would have been more expected.

I loved the kyanite pendant! It’s gorgeous and can feel the energy!!! The chain however is poor quality. It turned after wearing it for a brief time one day. It would have been better on a cord or leather necklace.
