This year in Magical Sabbatical, we will explore the “World of Magic” by guiding students through a historical tour of global civilizations and metacultures. Each month we will learn about the magical and ritualistic practices of the focal civilization. Together, we will tap into and harness the power of these magical societies infusing their knowledge with our modern practices.

This month, our focus civilization is Sumeria.

Ancient Sumeria is the the birth-spring of human civilization. The earliest spiritual doctrine, written at the dawn of civilization, proves the Divine Feminine brought life into existence. From the earliest time, it was women who headed civilization. In Sumerian mythology, the Great Goddess, Inanna, was held above all other Divinity, while other gods, both masculine and feminine, paired in equality. We have a very limited number of these sets available for purchase; each comes with one (1) 15mL bottle of my Inanna perfume with notes of cedarwood, saffron, and myrrh. This is a guiding, healing, and uplifting scent that will invoke high vibrations of Divine energy. Each bottle of my Inanna perfume is infused with a ruby chip stone to further amplify its properties.

Next, is one (1) poured soy wax candle (6 oz) using my Inanna perfume oil, dressed with cedar wood. Cedar was an exotic import to Sumeria, used for ceremonial offerings in the form of incense and oils. Ancestral magic is at play here, folks! Each candle also holds a ruby chip stone.
