I am so excited to bring you our namesake fragrance, white sage, in these white sage incense sticks. Our indigenous elders have burned this sacred herb since time immemorial to clear and consecrate intended spaces. The smoke of our new white sage incense will purify unwanted energy while drawing in positivity. White sage is truly a smudge incense sent from above!
The deeper magic of my white sage incense sticks
For millennia, our ancestors have believed this sacred smoke raises vibrations and assists with magical practice. So when we smudge today, we also connect with our lineage in a powerful way. Incense was, in fact, the first form of perfume. Perfume literally means ‘through smoke.’ Our ancestors used smudging as the primary way to scent their bodies. Our Egyptian and Roman ancestors “perfumed” the air with the incense they burned.
It won’t surprise you to know that sage is one of my favorite scents of all time. White sage is a sacred herb traditionally burned to purify and set a space. The smoke of white sage draws positive spirits and discourages negativity. I burn sage whenever a space feels stagnant, tense, or has energy that simply isn’t mine. Doing this dispels those unwanted vibrations and allows space for positive energy to flow freely through.
