Since ancient times, our ancestors have burned sacred herbs and resins, believing the sacred smoke to raise vibrations, dispel negativity, and assist with spiritual work. Today, we know this process as smudging, and it remains a critical first step in any sacred ritual. I smudge daily to purify my sacred space before ritual, ceremony, or meditation. It’s an integral part of my spiritual practice — in fact, it’s what this community was built upon!

You will receive the following:

One (1) piece of Natural Himalayan Salt (about 2-3”) sourced from Pakistan. Himalayan salt crystals are mineral material that is part of the primordial sea, buried underwater in the thermal ocean landscape for more than 300 million years as they formed. As the mountains, now known as the Himalayas, rose from under the Earth’s surface, these salt crystals were exposed.

• Releases negative ions. Today’s environment is often saturated with dust, pollutants, dirt, and allergens, all of which carry a positive charge. The salt helps to keep the air around you cleansed and balanced.
• Placing throughout a room and using them for salt therapy is said to clear negativity and be especially beneficial for the lungs, sinuses, and skin.

One (1) Natural Black Kyanite Spear (about 1-2”) sourced from Brazil. Black kyanite instantly clears the energy from any person or item with just one touch. It naturally forms in fan-like blades and is rich in aluminum, enhancing intuition.

One (1) Palo Santo Stick (about 3”). Shamans have worked with palo santo medicine for thousands of years. It’s physically and spiritually cleansing, enhances clarity, restores tranquility, promotes joy, and inspires creativity. The attraction to its fragrance is said to be a sign of spiritual and emotional purity.

At Sage Goddess, we only use sustainably sourced palo santo wood and oils. Our Peruvian partners only harvest wood that has died naturally and has been dead for at least five years. We never harm living trees! The dead wood is collected, cleaned, and cut by hand. In addition, we are committed to replanting trees in the forests where we find our wood. This ensures that our palo santo forests are not susceptible to over-harvesting.
