Set in genuine 925 silver, these high quality, star sapphire pendants are seriously magical. Star sapphire, sometimes known as blue sapphire, is actually a close relative of ruby. Unlike ruby, star sapphire is a stone for mental and psychic activation. It is a powerful enhancer of visionary abilities and it promotes mental agility.
Unsurprisingly, star sapphire is associated with the planet Saturn, which is the archetype of order, structure, and discipline.

Star sapphires are rare and very special to me. I only have a few choice pendants that have the chatoyant quality we associate with the magical star shapes in rubies and sapphires (which are both the same stone, corundum, a 9 on the Measure of Hardness Scale). Did you know that only 2 out of 100 sapphires have the star within? The star is formed when a drop of water is included in the corundum base mineral as it grows; the trapped water creates a lightplay effect. Star sapphires are believed to protect the bearer, according to Indian legends. They also bring wisdom and discernment, as well as potent healing of the physical and auric bodies.
As it stimulates both Throat and Third Eye Chakras, star sapphire not only helps you see through the fog of appearances, it also allows you to speak freely and clearly from a place of inner wisdom.
