The deeper magic of this July 2023 Living Essence Incense

Did you know that incense was the first form of perfume? The word ‘perfume’ literally means ‘through smoke,’ and our ancestors used incense to scent their bodies. Burning incense is a great way to smudge and connects us with the ancients in a powerful and beautiful way. The magic of this blend lies in its ingredients.

• Meadowsweet is associated with the gift of courage and protection and invokes balance and harmony for those who work with it. Its scent fills the heart with joy and positivity.
• Rose is a famous symbol of love, luck, youth, beauty, passion, and attraction. It’s a flower of promises, new beginnings, hope, and healing and promotes happiness and commitment.
• Yerba santa enhances courage, helps you connect to your innermost self, and is an excellent herb for shamanic journey. It releases emotional pain stored in the Heart Chakra, and is perfect for increasing self-love and self-care.
• Burdock root is protective and purifying. It’s balancing and brings calm, healing, and love and can be incorporated into love and attraction magic.
• Patchouli is an herb of attraction that draws your desires to you and makes you more alluring to others. Its earthy essence heightens sensuality and entices you to enjoy your physical nature.
• Verbena is a vibrant, sweet-smelling fragrance that invigorates, cleanses, and lifts your mood. It inspires and stimulates creativity and helps to enhance focus and concentration. 
• Violet leaf brings abundance, fertility, courage, self-expression, and peace. It’s good for protection or encouraging love and reminds us that to attract what we want, we must start within ourselves.
• Jasmine brings pure light and joy. It’s a seductive aphrodisiac that arouses sensuality and attracts physical and spiritual love, as well as all kinds of abundance.
• Lavender brings tranquility, enhances meditation, and activates the Crown Chakra for higher levels of consciousness. It calms and centers the mind and is a great aid for contemplation.
• Myrtle encourages strength and stability. It brings purifying energies of love, beauty, and celebration.
• Makko has been used since ancient times in crafting incense. It burns with minimal fragrance and allows loose incense blends to burn more easily.
