I smudge daily to purify my sacred space before ritual, ceremony, or meditation. It’s an integral part of my spiritual practice – in fact, it’s what this community was built upon! This potent smudge bundle contains sweetgrass and white sage. Sweetgrass is a sweet, long-lasting aroma that attracts good spirits and positive energies and reminds us of Mother Earth’s provision. It’s a beautifully aromatic herb with a vanilla-like scent with a healing, feminine essence and was used by our ancestors to open prayer and ritual. Sweetgrass helps tap into wisdom learned through incarnation, elevates consciousness, and connects with higher entities, spirits, and angels. It’s a healing herb that relaxes the body and mind, eases stress and tension, and boosts natural energy levels.

White sage is a sacred herb that’s been used for centuries by elders to clear and consecrate space. The smoke of ceremonial white sage, in particular, is said to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Most people find the scent grounding and centering. The sage in these bundles is sourced from a family-owned and operated farm in the high desert mountains of San Diego County, where wild white sage grows naturally. This farm is the only certified organic grower of white sage in the United States, so rest assured that these bundles were produced sustainably and organically! Additionally, this farm is far from urban areas, and thus, the air surrounding it is fresh – free of pollution. The water on the farm has lots of minerals that white sage requires to thrive; this water originally flushed the roots of desert plants like salvia apiana before becoming part of the natural aquifers in this region.
