This infused palo santo is an invitation to come into being – to feel centered and comfortable in the between, the liminal space. Liminal is the “they” space. It’s not this or that, and it’s everything and nothing at the same time. Its nature is flexible.

Essential oil-infused palo santo is something special, custom-made here at SG. It took us months to cultivate this process, and it’s proprietary! Palo santo is impressive on its own, but it can be hard to light, and people often complain that it produces very little smoke. Infused palo santo lights easier and stays lit longer. It also produces more smoke and the smoke has more aroma. This is some powerful healing and clearing magic all in one palo santo stick. This Deep Roots Infused Palo Santo is infused with my Deep Roots Perfume – a blend of styrax for grounding, pink peppercorn for clarity and protection, myrtle for positive vibrations, vetiver for wisdom and calm, and rau ram – an enlightening love and protection oil for the mind and body.

Palo santo is a sacred wood that grows in South America. When Spanish monks discovered its clearing and healing properties, they named it “Palo Santo” which means “holy wood.” The sweet and mellow aromatic oils of palo santo develop over time, after the tree has naturally fallen and spent years on the ground. Shamans have worked with palo santo medicine for thousands of years. It’s physically and spiritually cleansing, enhances clarity, restores tranquility, promotes joy, and inspires creativity. Palo santo also deepens your connection with Divine Source and enhances meditation. The attraction to its fragrance is said to be a sign of spiritual and emotional purity.

At Sage Goddess, we only use sustainably sourced palo santo wood and oils. Our Peruvian partners only harvest wood that has died naturally and has been dead for at least five years. We never harm living trees! The dead wood is collected, cleaned and cut by hand. We are also committed to replanting trees in the forests where we find our wood – this ensures that our palo santo forests are not susceptible to over-harvesting.
