This rune set was custom-made just for SG and features three powerhouse healing gems: Bloodstone, prehnite, and red jasper that have been bonded together. Bloodstone is my go-to stone for healing of any kind. It strengthens the Root Chakra and promotes closure and healing in emotional situations. Prehnite is the gem that heals the healer. It also brings peace and calm. Red jasper is a stone of regeneration that activates the Earth Star and Root Chakras. Runes are letters in a set of related alphabets known as runic alphabets, used throughout Northern Europe, Scandinavia, the British Isles, and Iceland from about 150 A.D. to 1600 A.D. They were used for writing, divination, and magic. Work with this gorgeous set to support you on your journey to healing and well-being.

The deeper magic of this Bloodstone, Prehnite, and Red Jasper Healing Rune Set
There are several variants of the runic alphabet. The one we use here at Sage Goddess is Elder Futhark, the oldest of them all, consisting of 24 runes. The first six runes of the alphabet spell out the word “FUTHARK.” The name rune itself, taken to mean “secret, something hidden,” seems to indicate knowledge of the runes was originally considered esoteric, or restricted to an elite. Each rune has esoteric meanings and properties associated with it. Each rune represents a word or a phrase signifying concepts important to the early peoples who used them, associated with the forces of nature and mind. Each rune has a story attached to it; a relationship to a Norse god. When you choose to work with runes (or as some would say – when the runes choose you), you initiate yourself into a quest for deeper wisdom.
Bloodstone brings relief from pain and promotes rejuvenation, endurance, and protection. When feeling fearful or frail, bloodstone enhances tenacity, strength, and energy. It gives you the confidence to face challenges, instills the courage to move forward, and carries encouraging, comforting energy. Bloodstone will be your ally in difficult times, increasing your resilience and resolve.
Prehnite activates the Heart Chakra and helps stabilize the flow of energy in the body, reducing anxious energy. It grounds your energy into the heart of Gaia, connecting and encouraging a link between your heart and the heart of Mother Earth. Prehnite holds you as you hold others, and reminds you that you, too, need healing and self-care. Red jasper is restorative, calming, and strengthening. It’s also known as a warrior stone that brings courage. It works with your physical body to ground and connect you with the Earth while creating both stability and emotional balance in your life. A go-to healing stone, this gem will help you find your groove and flow with greater ease and fortitude.
