How to even begin describing these obsidian palm stones? I have three varieties of obsidian – rainbow, sheen, and velvet; they’re all magnificent and striking with their dark luminescent flares, rainbow eyes, and mysterious sheen. The sheen obsidian is RARE, having both golden and silver sheen in one stone, and they flash brilliantly as you turn them in the light. The color of rainbow obsidian is faint, but you can see an array or prism in the way it reflects and refracts light. It’s VERY special, and it’s so soothing and healing. In these perfectly polished palm stone formations, these obsidian palm stones are supreme for holding in meditation.
Which of these obsidian palm stones is right for you?
I’ve always been in love with this strong guardian stone, but I’ve fallen even deeper as of late. Rainbow obsidian is THE stone for releasing, grieving and letting go. Powerful and supportive, it cradles you during life’s storms, strengthening you through the process. Are you feeling in need of protection? Rainbow obsidian offers that too, surrounding you with a shield of energy that keeps you safe.
Golden sheen obsidian is the only stone that tackles shadow integration. And in these rare specimens you are getting the protection and healing of silver sheen, as well. Our shadow is the collective repressed parts of ourself – our darker behaviors, patterns, and tendencies. Shadow can only harm us when it goes unacknowledged and hidden, while what we acknowledge comes into the light, bringing us to wholeness. Work with this stone in meditations and rituals that invite your shadow aspects to come forth and into the light, so that every part of you may shine brilliantly. Use this stone at the Third Eye or Crown Chakra.
Velvet obsidian, also known as peacock obsidian, is deep and mysterious as well. Work with this extra rare form of obsidian to stimulate your intuition and psychic awareness, to facilitate communication with higher beings, for shamanic or soul journeying, to facilitate astral travel of any kind, and to access the dream consciousness while in waking state.
