These Mabon Rings are so special and magical! They’re crafted from tabasco geode agates from Mexico and set on 925 sterling silver adjustable bands. Formally known as illanites, tabasco geodes are the world’s smallest geode formation – perfect to craft into jewelry, like these Mabon Rings. Left untouched, they appear like ordinary stones, but just beneath their mysterious veneer is a world full of sparkling wonder.
These Mabon Rings are the perfect sacred adornment to wear as we transition from Lammas and Sang Bleu to Mabon and Sang Rouge. The autumnal equinox, the celebration of Mabon, is one of two dates in the year when day and night are of equal length. It’s an energetic cusp of perfect balance, and as we cross over, we step into the shadowy half of the year. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the days grow short, the nights grow long. The deeper magic of these Mabon Rings
Tabasco geodes at first glance seem plain and ordinary, but when you look within, these stones are actually complex and glorious. “Never judge a book by its cover,” is one lesson we can learn from this gemstone and the other is that sometimes you have to express your inner self to show the world all the goddess glory that is you. Most tabasco geodes are agate with tiny quartz crystals in the center. Agate is a very grounding and centering stone. It brings you increased strength and stability, helping you to move past negativity and overcome fears. Agate also helps with inner peace during times where emotionally you’re not feeling vibrationally at your best. It’s also a gemstone good for stronger self-control, resilience, and balance within the self. Agate is a stone of peace and calm.
