Vivianite is truly a rare beauty. I’m so excited to share this very special specimen with you. Vivianite is a wonderful stone for cultivating our Divine gifts. From enhancing and strengthening intuition, to awakening the heart to compassion and kindness, this stone is truly a unique one that you’ll want to have in your collection.
Vivianite is well known to darken when exposed to to light. This is caused by a chemical transformation of the iron, which is responsible for the color deepening and the subsequent decrease in transparency. Continued exposure will eventually turn a specimen black and make it completely opaque. Certain specimens may be unstable and form cracks along cleavage surfaces when exposed to light, as well. Due to this instability, I recommended keeping your vivianite specimen out of any light except for when you working with it.
The deeper magic of vivianite
Vivianite is a powerful tool for Higher Realm activation, as well as a perfect conduit for achieving highly meditative states. Sourced in Bolivia and named after J.G. Vivian, an English mineralogist, this stone embodies the attributes of Mother Nature. It is habitually used to clear the auric field, as well as to align the chakras. Recognized as a journeying stone, vivianite is the perfect addition to any transcendental work. It supports clarity, emotional regulation, anchoring and overall well-being.
