This incense blend comes in a beautiful, brown apothecary bottle and is a sacred combination of palo santo, eucalyptus, rosemary, alucema, and myrrh – a purifying and uplifting mixture traditionally used by Peruvian shamans during ceremonies to clear homes of negativity. Every bottle also comes infused with a tumbled clear quartz, for sealing and amplifying your intentions. The deeper magic of my Sahumerio Incense Blend

Did you know that incense was the first form of perfume? The word “perfume” literally means “through smoke,” and our ancestors used incense to scent their bodies. Burning incense is a great way to smudge, and it connects us with the ancients in a powerful and beautiful way.

The magic of my Sahumerio Incense Blend lies in its ingredients. Palo santo is a sacred wood that grows in South America, and shamans have worked with it for thousands of years. It’s physically and spiritually cleansing, enhances clarity, restores tranquility, promotes joy, and inspires creativity. Eucalyptus brings wellness, energetic balance, and heart-healing. This herb’s strong, but cooling and sweet scent increases concentration and mental expansion. It also rouses positivity and open-mindedness.

Rosemary is one of the oldest herbs and brings healing, protection, and purification. It enhances clarity and is energizing and uplifting. Rosemary also attracts love and connects you with the angelic realms. Alucema, most commonly known as lavender, brings tranquility, enhances meditation, and activates the Crown Chakra for higher levels of consciousness. It calms and centers the mind and is a great aid for contemplation. Myrrh serves as a gateway to the spirit world, aiding communication with those who have passed. Its aroma lifts and clears stagnant or negative vibrations, aiding those who need energetic rescue.

At Sage Goddess, we only use sustainably sourced palo santo wood and oils. Our Peruvian partners only harvest wood that has died naturally and has been dead for at least 5 years. We never harm living trees! The dead wood is collected, cleaned, and cut by hand. In addition, we are committed to replanting trees in the forests where we find our wood. This ensures that our palo santo forests are not susceptible to over-harvesting.
