This smudge bundle is lovingly handcrafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters using fresh juniper for protection, cedar for grounding, and rosemary for purification. Each bundle is wrapped with white sage for clearing and adorned with wildflowers. Work with this offering to cleanse your spaces from old energies and welcome the return of light – where all that’s hidden will come into view, and we’ll step into longer days with love and joy.

The sacred day of Yule, or the Winter Solstice, marks the year’s longest night. The roots of Yule are of Pagan tradition, where the Wheel of the Year guides us through the ever-turning passage of time. Every year as the Earth follows her path around the Sun, so too does the great wheel make its rotation. Yule is at once our point of completion and renewal, death and rebirth.

The deeper magic of my Yule Smudge Bundle

Since ancient times, our ancestors have burned sacred herbs and resins, believing the sacred smoke to raise vibrations, dispel negativity, and assist with spiritual work. Today, we know this process as smudging, and it remains a critical first step in any sacred ritual. I smudge daily to purify my sacred space before ritual, ceremony, or meditation. It’s an integral part of my spiritual practice – in fact, it’s what this community was built upon!

This beautiful smudge bundle is crafted with juniper, cedar, and rosemary and beautifully wrapped with white sage. Juniper is a potent bringer of protection, peace, centeredness, and balance. Working with this herb helps you get grounded as well as focused. Juniper is perfect for when you need additional strength and creates a space of safety and comfort. It’s also purifying, healing, and regenerating. Juniper is associated with fire and brings warmth, passion, and vital energy. Cedar possesses a deep, ancient, and protective energy. It brings forth feelings of safety, grounding, support, love, and comfort. Cedar’s fragrance is purifying, safeguarding, and powerful in facilitating deep introspection and meditation. This herb centers your spirit, connects you with your ancestors and helps you tap into your innermost wisdom – the wisdom that resonates with the sacred truths of the Earth. Rosemary is one of the oldest herbs and brings healing, protection, and purification. It enhances clarity and is energizing and uplifting. Rosemary also attracts love and connects you with the angelic realms.

White sage is a sacred herb that’s been used for centuries by elders to clear and consecrate space. The smoke of ceremonial white sage, in particular, is said to draw positive spirits and discourage the presence of any unwanted energy. Most people find the scent grounding and centering. The sage in these bundles is sourced from a family-owned and operated farm in the high desert mountains of San Diego County, where wild white sage grows naturally. This farm is the only certified organic grower of white sage in the United States, so rest assured that these bundles were produced sustainably and organically! Additionally, this farm is far from urban areas; thus, the air surrounding it is fresh – free of pollution. The water on the farm has lots of minerals that white sage requires to thrive; this water originally flushed the roots of desert plants like salvia apiana before becoming part of the natural aquifers in this region.
